Carrymax trays are super tough. How do we know? ........ because we test them on Military grade cross country circuits.
Built by Autokaross Sweden and assembled right here in Australia, our ute trays are like nothing you have ever seen before.
The difference is in the way they are built..... By having a strong and rigid zincalume steel sub frame and a lightweight extruded alloy body, we can achieve the best of both steel and aluminium construction.
Most tray damage occurs from the inside. Standard aluminium sides dint and warp, while steel sides rust..... We prevent this by using a double skin extruded side. This strong construction means they can't warp like standard sides.... the dints remain on the inside while giving you a smooth as new outside surface....and....No Rust.
ADVANTAGES OF THE Carrymax UTE TRAY...
Double skin anodised aluminium extrusion sides are 25mm thick and have an inbuilt hinge along the entire length. The sides can be easily removed if required.
Internal tie down rings are integrated into an anodised aluminium frame. This allows the load to be tied internally rather than using external rope rails. The rings flip away when not in use
Removable corner pillars that lock the sides and tailgate into position. This prevents rattling and creates a rigid box
Optional rear support bracket gives the tray an extra 300mm of load space or can be used as a work bench......Holds up to 150kg in weight
Massive zincalume steel chassis rails give the carrymax tray its rigidity and strength. The tray bolts straight onto the vehicle chassis
